Newborn and toddlers -my favourite kind of shoot
Being a family photographer in Berkshire, means not only do I do shoots in Berkshire, but I also travel all over the country shooting amazing families. This family photoshoot in London was so super, involving cats, private gardens and lots of newborn cuddles.
This was a repeat client, I had previously done a newborn shoot with them and then I was invited back to shoot the newest addition to the family.
It was such a joy to see the little boy again, he had grown so much and hanging out together was so dreamy. I love seeing children again, I love seeing how they’ve changed, the things that have stayed the same, the little quirks and nuances that make them who they are.
Family photography is such a privilege, and repeat clients hold such a special place in my heart.
The shoot took place in West London, having some time at home, and then some time out in a little private garden near their house. I love doing a mix and match like this, it means clients get the best of both worlds, amazing memories in their home and also where they like to hang out when they get outside!
After hanging with the cat by the window, and playing with the magnets on the fridge, the little boy proudly showed me his animal collection before we headed out to his favourite park for a play and some snacks.
I never ask my families to pose, I find letting children be who they are means you capture their personality perfectly. Like what you see?! You can see another family shoot here.
Newborn shoots with a toddler thrown in are a riot – book a call in with me here and I’ll explain how I make it, not only fun, but super easy for all involved!
